Prime Grade – White Limba Two Piece Body Blank

A beautiful White Limba two-piece body blank set.

Limba is tonally rich and easy to work with, a perfect material for Luthiers to focus their artistic creativity on.

50mm thick, so it can be machined down to whatever thickness is desired by the Luthier.

This Limba has been carefully air dried for over 25 years, is perfectly stable and ready to use.

Black Limba / White Limba, as with many African hardwood species, occasionally will have a few bug holes somewhere in the set. This is completely normal for Limba, and it is actually these bug holes that cause the sought after orange coloured ambrosia Spalting commonly found in Limba!

This is a 2 piece body set. If you require this set to be jointed and glued before shipped, then that isn’t a problem to do, but does require a additional fee of £28.50 and will delay shipping by one or two days. If you require this, please purchase the set as normal but enter a note requesting this service in the comments box when checking out. We will then send you a separate PayPal request for the jointing fee. Additional machining services available.
