These Quilted English Elm guitar and bass tops are incredibly rare – its the first time i have ever seen this type of figuring in Elm in all my years of working with timber.
Beautiful flowing grain patterns, rich colours and solid burl clusters – incredible stock! These will look very beautiful when oiled or lacquered, creating tonally and aesthetically amazing instruments.
The slabs that yielded these quilted Elm bookmatched sets came from Scotland, and were personally selected for their exceptional quality.
These bookmatched Elm sets will be perfect for use as tops for electric guitars and basses, and will create some truly astonishing looking instruments.
