Quilted Maple Bookmatched Set – Quarter Sawn
A beautiful set of Quilted Maple, and very rare to find as quarter sawn cut. This gives the distinct growth ring patterns seen on these sets.
This set is 6.3mm thick.
These Quilted Maple sets are pure white right the way through – no dark marks or heartwood discolouration. These sets will look seriously beautiful left natural, or they would be absolutely perfect to use as a canvas for colour staining. When these sets are lacquered, or stained and lacquered then they will really come to life and the quilted figuring will take on that really sought after holographic effect.
These Quilted Maple sets are fantastic quality material, and will be perfect to use for high-end guitar and bass tops.
