Absolutely beautiful Roasted Ripple Sycamore Bookmatched Carve-Top set. I had a few billets of ripple sycamore professionally roasted a few years back, and these tops have been cut from some of the finest billets.
Sycamore is a type of Maple, but generally is a little lighter in weight. The roasting process leaves these lighter still, accentuates the flame figure and makes the sets very stable and easier to carve. They also smell fantastic!
